Dear Friends of ModSim World Canada,

With the summer already behind us, it is time to look ahead and prepare for this year’s activities.

Firstly we would like to inform you that ModSim World Canada is a silver sponsor at the ModSim World event in Virginia Beach October 14th to the 16th 2009. As such we would like to offer your company the opportunity to join us in Virginia Beach. We are looking for individuals, companies or Universities that would like to take a place in our booth. We are offering a low cost solution to having your presence at this international event.

As a co sponsor of the booth for the low price of $1000 dollars Canadian, you will have space to put up your banner, table space to offer your marketing materials. In addition you will have an entry, for one person, to the event.

This is the last call for those interested in sharing space with us in Virginia Beach. Space is limited so we will be taking a first come first serve approach to this opportunity.

For those of you unaware of ModSimWorld in Virginia Beach it is a unique multi-disciplinary International Conference & Exposition for the exchange of modeling & simulation knowledge, research, and technology across industry, government, and academia.
For 2009, the conference focus is on 21st Century Decision-Making: The Art of Modeling & Simulation. Speakers, educational tracks, presentations, and product demonstrations will center on using modeling and simulation tools and practices in emerging & innovative operating environments. Attendees will learn about new applications and practices and have an opportunity to network with other industry professionals.
In addition, Senator Mark Warner’s Virginia Summit on Modeling & Simulation will be taking place on the 13th of October. The Senator was instrumental in the promotion Modelling and Simulation in the early days and has continued to lobby for a greater use and integration of the key technologies of M&S in Government. His town hall meeting will be both interesting and educational for all.

For those of you wanting to go to both Senator Warner’s summit and ModSim World you must plan to be there from the 13th of October 2009 to the 16th of October 2009. Further more you have to register for both events separately. We hope you will join us in this key event in the east coast sun shine.
