Far Vista Studios
Far Vista Studios, incorporated in Saskatchewan, Canada in 2000, has programmed, and provided art subcontracting for several recognizable and larger North American entertainment companies including Microsoft, MyDreamFlyer, Dreamcatcher, and Silverline. Far Vista Studios staff has also gone on to work for other notable game developers such as Ubisoft, Mad Doc, EA Games and numerous other studios throughout North America and Europe.
For Microsoft and MyDreamFlyer, Far Vista Studios recently created the hanger and plane animation for DreamFlyer™, the new Microsoft flight motion simulator (mydreamflyer.com). These animations were included in the DreamFlyer™ commercial shown by Microsoft during the September launch of the simulator at Toronto's Pearson Airport.
In 2006, Far Vista Studios' game "Apocalypse Spell"™ (an adventure game still in development and yet to be published) was the Semifinalist in the 2006 "Indie" Game Showcase at the Game Developer's Conference (GDC) in San Francisco. In the movie genera, Far Vista Studios' last feature film FX (special effects) was completed for the horror movie "Shadow Puppets" released in 2006.

The Saskatchewan Auto Fund is the province’s compulsory auto insurance program, operating the driver’s licensing and vehicle registration system. The Auto Fund is financially self.sustaining, operating on a break.even basis over time. It does not receive money from, nor pay dividends to, the government. SGI CANADA is fully competitive, selling property and casualty insurance products such as home, farm, business and extension auto. SGI CANADA currently operates in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. SGI CANADA will also be selling insurance products in Alberta in 2006. SGI employs over 1,600 people and works with a network of almost 300 independent insurance brokers and about 450 motor licence issuers in Saskatchewan, as well as numerous brokers outside the province.
