Media Group Co-Founder Ken Adolph Passes Away
March 08, 2010

After twenty-one successful years at CFQC-TV in Saskatoon, Ken left broadcast television to follow his dream of forming his own media production and post-production company. He and his wife and partner Dianne hoped this new venture would not simply provide another outlet for their extensive production experience but would allow them to expand upon them as well foster the talents of Saskatchewan film and video creators.

In the 16 years since Media Group’s inception, M.G. Media Group Inc. has grown from a small home-based business into the thriving employer of twenty full-time personnel plus a full complement of freelance professionals. Media Group has also been the training ground for numerous television and film professionals who have gone on to establish their own companies. Under Ken’s leadership it has become one of Saskatchewan’s largest film, video and post-production companies. Ken’s entrepreneurial spirit, his strong belief in teamwork and commitment to quality has built what was a dream into a solid and successful reality that is Media Group today.

Ken is survived by his wife and partner, Dianne, and their two daughters, Alexandra and Colleen.

He will be greatly missed.
