and Friday) to participate in creating a knowledge commons in
Saskatchewan.
We are talking about:
* reclaiming knowledge, information, and culture as commonly held
resources for the public good
* challenging the privatization and commodification of knowledge
* creating avenues for scientists, artists, Indigenous Peoples,
farmers, journalists, students, teachers, librarians, health care
workers, researchers, community activists, and citizens of all kinds
to freely access and share humanity's knowledge

* Brewster Kneen, Founder of the Forum on Privatization and the
Public Domain, will deliver the keynote address in the Multi-Purpose
Room, Riddell Centre

* moderated panel discussions on issues and solutions, with
representatives from a variety of sectors (see website for details)
* break-out discussion sessions
* displays and networking (see website for a current list)
* closing plenary session
* organic, locally-sourced lunch (catered by University Club)
