From Your Board
Plan on attending Saskatchewan Interactive! An intensive one-day symposium for digital media producers, Thursday, March 9, 2006 in Saskatoon, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Hilton Gardens Inn.
The symposium is a key initiative by the SNMDA for industry development, and to increase awareness and opportunities for Saskatchewan’s interactive media companies.
The primary aim of the symposium is to attract key interactive professionals from the North American industry to meet, showcase their work & stories, and to inspire provincial companies to advance technical and design capabilities. Encounter a growing trend – “Serious Gaming” dedicated to social change through digital games. Learn from leading experts and join our young industry as we learn, grow, network with peers, and broaden our horizons.
The symposium will gather industry players and provide Western Canadians an accessible, top-notch event at which they can meet with leaders in the North American community, forge new partnerships, connect with those who can help you access opportunities, and share the stories of perseverance and success. This intensive one-day symposium will serve to introduce and facilitate connections between Canadian and American digital media companies.
We will be posting the symposium details on a new website and reveal details shortly. This event is supported in part by SATA and it’s TechAction initiative. Stay tuned!
