nextMEDIA – The International Interactive Media Festival will take place at the majestic Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, June 9 – 11, 2006, just prior to the Banff World Television Festival, June 11 – 14, 2006. Also announced is the launch of the 2006 nextMEDIA website at www.nextmedia2006.com.

The festival will commence on Friday, June 9th, with an opening cocktail party and networking event. Saturday, June 10th, will feature sessions focusing on the trends and innovations affecting mobile media. Sunday, June 11th, will spotlight advanced interactive media platforms, interactive television, internet content models and the expanding realm of interactive advertising and marketing. nextMEDIA will wrap on Sunday, June 11th at a much-anticipated social event, the prestigious Banff World Television Festival Opening Reception.

Scheduled for June 9 - 11, 2006, nextMEDIA is an intimate three-day event that presents the world's brightest and most promising industry leaders in evolving media sectors. It is a unique opportunity to explore the innovations in interactive media and to connect with an international delegate base of industry stakeholders.
