Video Game Development 101 Workshop
Everything you needed to know about video game development to get you started.
This all-day game development workshop is set for October 12 in Saskatoon, with a video feed to the SIAST Wascana Campus and possibly to the U of R.

This event builds on the incredible success of our March 9 Interactive event where presenters from across Canada and the US provided an overview of what is happening in the fast-growing world of game development. This latest event will cover some of the more practical aspects of how to build games and more real-world examples of successes. Laurent Abecassis of Montreal, will offer participants practical information pertaining to the design and production of games.

The workshop invites new media industry producers; educators; progressive business and health care educators; human resource trainers; and government leaders, for a broad overview of what is involved in video game development and production; the different type of games that can be made; for which platforms (pc, mac, online, console, mobile etc...) and which game engine technologies can be used to produce such games.
