The Serious Games Summit& Partners in Learning Forum
The Serious Games Summit, held Oct.30 & 31, was a remarkable event that covered a multitude of education, training and simulation projects and information. Board members Deborah Black and Frank Bulk were able to attend. Our national body, the CIAIC requested that the participants they assisted with PEMD funding add blogs to the Serious Games link on their site. Check out http://www.ciaic.ca and click on Serious Games Summit to access the blogs that cover the field from a national perspective.
In the near future a report on this event and the excellent Partners in Learning Forum, organized by the Canadian Embassy in Washington DC, will be forthcoming for members. As part of the 2-day event, in a mini trade show organized for Washington area companies who are seeking Canadian small business partners, Deborah Black presented the work of a number of Saskatchewan companies.

The work of a number of Saskatchewan interactive companies will also be featured in Hong Kong when Industry Canada staffs a trade show booth in early December at the ITU. They will be presenting a multimedia presentation that highlights our industry, among other Saskatchewan industries. We are making a difference!
