The SIMA Competition is an annual opportunity for everyone involved in Saskatchewan's interactive media industry to celebrate their successes. This competition is open to producers and owners. Choose from the categories (one category per product) listed below. Submit your entry online between July 1 and noon on August 3, 2010. Entry fees must be received by closing date/time.
Winners will be announced on September 24 at the SaskInteractive Summit 2010 to be held at the Radisson Hotel in Saskatoon.
Based on feedback from the industry, categories have been expanded and re-categorized as follows:
- Website – budget: < $5,000
- Website – budget: $5,000 to $9,999
- Website – budget: $10,000 to $49,999
- Website – budget: > $50,000
- Social media applications or social media websites
- Cross platform product
- eGaming/interactive entertainment
- eCommerce
- Interactive advertising/online ads
- Government
- Education/learning/training/visualization
- Mobile entertainment
- Mobile services – non-entertainment
- Most promising new company of the year
