Sask@Gamescom [Germany 2026]

Thinking of attending Gamescom in Germany this August? SaskInteractive is working with The Canadian Interactive Alliance (CIAIC) to raise money in order to export our local game dev projects! The deadline for applications is April 24th, so apply now!

Qualifications:

This program is meant to support export development activities of Saskatchewan videogame companies, applicants must be:

  • Attending Gamescom in Cologne Germany in August, 2026.
  • Have their Studio's primary operations based in Saskatchewan.
  • Both their Studio & Project must be Canadian Owned & Controlled.
  • The Studio must own the Intellectual Property Rights for their Project.
  • The Project must show strong Export Potential.
  • The Project must be ready to pitch buyers at Gamescom 2026.
  • Participants must be developing an entertainment video game for PC/Console/Mobile. VR-only Games might be considered but will not be prioritized.

Applicant Selection Process:

Applicants will be assessed and selected for the program based primarily on the Export Potential and Market Readiness of the Project submitted.  Assessment will be conducted by the program organizers & expert consultants involved in delivering the program.

Selected Applicants will be offered the opportunity to participate based on an assessed Tier (A or B), at which point if they wish to accept they will be required to pay the nominal Registration Fee of $250 CAD + GST.
